Mrs. Moyer & I proudly attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.

My wife, Mrs. Moyer, and I at Yosemite Valley.  We love hiking.

General Information

  • grew up in Holdingford, MN spending much of my time on my grandparents' farm​

    • participated in track, baseball, band and drama in high school; was also a member of the National Honor Society, Boy Scouts, and a peer tutor for elementary science students

    • was a Superior Rated trumpet player in Minnesota and a member of a very talented jazz ensemble in high school

  • worked with plastics for Jennings' Decoy Company from 1993 to 1996

  • married Mrs. Moyer in 1997; she teaches 3rd grade at TPES; we have a terrier named Timber...he's small but mighty

  • we currently live in Twentynine Palms, CA; Mrs. Moyer and I chose to move to Twentynine Palms because it is an amazing place...and we really don't like mosquitos and Minnesota winters

  • My hobbies include:

    • listening to music; my iPod is loaded with all genres of music...I collect songs like I used to collect baseball cards

    • an avid hiker; favorite places to hike include the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, the desert around Joshua Tree National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains

    • I really enjoy writing; a published poet and working on a novel

    • art, both as an observer and creator...I enjoy sketching landscapes, watercolors, and painting with acrylics on canvas

    • cooking, running, & reading
